One Big Change ~Ryan~

Jasmine sped into her room, locking the door as she went. She wanted to change, not on the inside, but the out, and she needed to do it rather quickly, for she had invited Ryan over and she wanted him to see it. She quickly used her Metamorphagus to change her eye color to blue, tan her skin, and change her hair from red, to blonde. She wasn't satisfied however, so she did something she normally didn't do... she performed magic illegally. She quickly charmed her skin, eyes, and hair, and the came a wrapping at her window after she was done. She turned to see...

Ryan was sitting on Jasmine's sill, and it was dark out. He had a bloody red rose clamped inbetween his teeth as he rapped at the window again. It was hard to balance on the narrow sill and all his weight was bunched up, so he could easily fall backwards. When Jasmine opened her sill he climbed into her room. When he looked up at her he gasped in astonishment...

Jasmine quickly helped Ryan in so he wouldn't fall out the window. She held a tanned finger to her lips as Ryan sat on the bed. Jasmine was in a lavender robe, newly blond hair up in a messy bun. She twirled a bit. "Do you like?" she asked, frowning at Ryan's still amazed look.

Ryan forced his gaping mouth closed. He had never in a million years would picture Jasmine as a blonde. He absent-mindedly stroked her tanned cheek. Finally he smiled slowly, playing with the rose in his hands. "I like." He nodded with approval and stuck the rose behind Jasmine's ears. "But I'd love you every way you are" He added and kissed her forehead.

Jasmine smiled, her rosy lips curving up slightly. She pecked him on the cheek quickly, then slowly leaned in and gazed into his eyes. She hummed quietly to herself, and she didn't quite realize what she was humming until she was out of Ryan's arms and grabbing for a tissue to dab her red eyes. Her robe started slipping down a bit, and she picked it back over her shoulders, still clutching the tissue tightly.

Ryan winced slightly. "What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?" He asked. Was she crying? Did he do something?

Jasmine laughed, her voice cracking. "No, you didn't. That was a lullaby my father used to sing to me. I just miss him... so much." she replied, wiping the last batch of tears from her eyes. She got up and wrapped her arms around Ryan, kissing him.

Ryan held Jasmine comfortingly, kissing her back gently. "It'll be fine..." He reassured softly. He was about to mention his mom but then he remembered how she had died in India over summer. Ryan swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat.

Jasmine noticed the lump. "Ryan?" she asked cautiously. She moved swiftly and kissed him, holding him tightly, not even bothering to notice yet that her robe was slipping farther and farther down her shoulders.

Ryan subconciously pulled Jasmine's robe back up onto her shoulders. He blinked and focused on Jasmine's beutiful eyes. "Yeah?" He asked, kissing her neck.

Jasmine smiled. "Never mind." she replied. she wasn't going to push, she just wasn't that kind of person. She gripped Ryan's hands and then got up, rummaging through her desk drawers. She came back with a black velvet box. She opened it to reveal a gold band. Smiling she slipped it on his finger, then she twisted it around to show him the engraving.

Ryan's eyes widened. He stared at the careful time that had been put into it. He wasn't that kind of mushy guy and he didn't know what to say. He kissed Jasmine, unable to think of anything to say.

Jasmine kissed back, tears overflowing and spilling onto her tanned cheeks. She broke away and smiled, not bothering to wipe her tears away. She was so overcome with emotion right now, fear, anxiety, happiness, and a sense of passion she had never felt before.

Ryan continued to kiss Jasmine, holding her face in his hands. He hadn't felt this strongly in love with her before. It was amazing, he never thought he could love anyone like this.

Jasmine broke away after awhile. She didn't know how late it was now, but she didn't care. She wiped some of the tears away and smiled, leaning against Ryan's chest. This just felt so right, she wanted him, forever and always.
